Greetings. After learning about BURNING MAN many, many...

Post by shinobi53 » Sun Nov 09, 2008 1:36 pm

...years ago, and several false starts, I'm seriously planning on making it to the 2009 event. That is, if the economy and the anti-forces of man and nature allow.
I'll be the sunburned white haired guy wearing a wide brimmed hat and carrying around a big cooler cup. =)

Word of advice about your ensamble. (Or is that on-sambl?)

Don't wear a shirt and no trousers/shorts unless you like being looked at with loathing.

"Shirt-Cocking" is one of the playa's seven deadly sins.

Screw the economy and anti-forces. Don't treat the trip as a luxury. Treat is as a necessity. It WILL happen come hell or high water. The only optional part about the trip is how much crap you will be able to afford to bring with you.

Well said.

I'll be a first time burner in '09 as well shinobi. Let's take Dork's advice and hope we don't become MOOP in the form of dehydrated corpses.

Not to confused by the other thousands of sunburned white haired guys, unless your also sporting dusty ears, then, there's only one other. Hi Phil :)
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.
