Virgin Burner

Post by AsukaLily » Tue Dec 16, 2008 9:15 am

HELLO!!......now for the akward intro
I have been planing my first BM experience since last year as I knew I would not be able to attend last year. I am your run of the mill average 19 year old redhead located in the Pacific NW that enjoys the simple things such as vacuum attachments, dinosaurs, playing with fire, and fluffy unicorns.

p.s. I promise to bring ample amounts of bacon and sausage!!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya.

It was refreshing reading a first thread about somebody that couldn't attend last year but will be attending this year. Usually it goes 'I won't be going this year, but will be there in...' Never made sense to me.

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome, AsukaLily

You might want to bring a filter for that vacuum when you venture forth to the playa

And don't let JKisha near that vacuum, things are weird enough round these parts already :P
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

You mean you missed the bacon and booby camp! It's okay, we thinking of a game camp that called "eat it, fuck it, or smoke it!"

And with the bacon... don't forget pickles!

Ah, of course....Portland....only major city without flouride in the water...

it is also a place where most of the girls can beat up most of the boys.

Inter-related? maybe.

say hi to the Bar of the Gods for me, and welcome Home, at least the sun shines in BRC and if you sit down for any extended period of time, moss will NOT grow on you as it does in the Verdant NW...

i'm sorry, for some unknown reason, Portland pisses me off.

it's just too perfect, i hate that....i need a slimey underbelly, i feel lost without the grime of industrialization, and Tofu makes me madder than a Hatter.

However, the Roller Derby is by far and away one of the Hottest things i've ever seen.

Underbelly?
Portland is where the term "shanghai" for kidnapping sailors was coined.
In spite of international protests, about 5,000 people a year were kidnapped and sold into slavery as sailors or prostitutes.
The city government protected the trade until the federal government finally intervened, at a fairly late date.

Counts as an underbelly, especially with the city involved.

Boy, take a day off from eplaya and I miss all the fun and interesting stuff. And to think I always thought of Portland as a laid back progressive town with a penchant for environmentalism.

Apparently it's all leather and "Thank you Sir may I have another!"
