Virgin CT Burner

Post by Rorrick » Sat Jan 03, 2009 1:25 pm

I don't remember when I learned about burning man, but i remember that I found it during one lazy Sunday of watching the history channel.

Since then I've been completely enamored with the idea of making the 35-hour ride out to Black Rock City from my home in Connecticut. I won't be able to make it to this year's, but i figured I'd get involved in the community somehow!

That is just so wrong.

Indeed. It might have actually been Nat Geo's Taboo. Definitely portrayed BM in a good light though.

 Poor JK, all this ribbing, simply because he fancies himself a carpenter. So what if he likes a little "wood-working" ? :P

However, in the spirit of playful bantering, maybe this might be more appropriate then a simple rainsuit, not to mention handy for those "rare" playa duststorms.

Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Yeah Simon, I am a big Thompson fan. Although to my mind, if anybody other than Hunter tried to live life the way he did most of the time, they would be reduced to a brain-dead sack of meat within a month. So I try to keep my time spent wandering around in a state of altered consciousness, tape-recorder in tow, within the limits of my capability. XD

By the way, anybody else here from the Connecticut area?

Hey, if I'm from Greenich, then I'm from next to the observatory.
