First timer from Utah

Post by ewaters » Wed Apr 01, 2009 7:46 am

Hello!

My wife and I are attending Burning Man for the first time this summer. I've been learning all I can about BM before then, trying to prepare myself and understand a bit of the context for the event.

I've wanted to go to BM for many years, and am thrilled to finally be able to attend! We'll be going with a seasoned burner or two, as we have a bunch of friends who are super keen on BM each year.

Now I just need to make plans within plans within plans (where's my spice?)

Howdy... I'm in Ogden. Are you planning on E-11 this year?

Not sure yet. I'm hoping to get out there for at least Saturday night/Sunday. Do you know what the costs are going to be? I'd love to go, since it seems like a great way to 1) familiarize myself with BM before August, and 2) meet some of the Utah burners so that I'd know more people out there and maybe even have a camp to stay with.

Welcome ewaters. You have found the right spot to familiarize yourself with BM.

There's a huge Utah village at Bman planned, I'll get you the links for that. Not sure of the ticket prices for E-11, $40 last year. This year it depends on the cost of the permit and the insurance.
