Hello From New Jersey...virgin here!

Post by Passage » Sun May 10, 2009 11:22 am

Hey my name is Ronnie, I'm from Jersey and am 17 but will be 18 by the time BM2009 comes around. I'm hoping I'll be able to attend in 2009 as long as it doesn't cut into any of my classes! I'm very excited about my first trip to the playa!!! I read the guide and am prepared to bring enough supplies so I don't become a mooch!

when i was overseas in the early eighties, it became habit to wear canadian flags and / or say "eh" alot to avoid being labeled and stigmatized as an "American".

may i suggest you do the same concerning your home state.

maybe i could get you a nice Phillies hat or something if you live down south, or perhaps a t-shirt with some catskill resort town on it.

i know it's not your fault, you cant pick where your parents live, so i dont blame you, i'm just trying to make it easier to "pass" when you venture forth into the world.

After all, you'll have the other 35 odd weeks to make up the missed time! The question is, are the rents cool with it?

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Ouch! Jersey hate coming from all directions!!

I still have to work out the details about my school schedule but you guys are right...I could probably miss the first week and still be fine. Or I could come up with an excuse. I'll see what I can do, but I'm praying I'll be able to come!
