I would rather risk trichinosis and eat raw bacon than give canadian ham the dignity of calling it the "B" word.

Poor OED, I haven't been able to bring you any real Canadian bacon yet but I'll be sure to bring some to the playa for you to try. Those American marketers don't have a clue what they are talking about when they put the name of Canadian bacon on their packages. That stuff really is awful.

and I'm up for a cook-off. My bacon will win, for sure.

haha you may win by having good can. bacon, but my hodads bacon, along with my culinary expertise, will win.

so i guess we both will win.
makes it more of a "Bacon Collaboration" huh? :P

Am I being too snarky if I suggest that 007 renames this the Dreary Canandian Reunion Fest?

Crypto not sure what you mean by 007 calling it a Dreary Canadian Reunion, so I can't tell if it's being snarky or not.

We're just having a nice chat about bacon. Nothin' dreary about that.

I guess 007 owes us an apology then since it seems clear he's got something against a discussion about bacon.

okay, 007 you're on the spot now.

(chilly, he's one of the moderators, btw. so it seems he thinks our discussion is boring. We might have to spice it up.)

mdmf007 is just one of the people who could change the name of the thread. Read more carefully.

Let's see 5 Americans, 1 Canadian, 1 Dreary person. I think the name of the thread is just fine.

Maybe the fish is just put off by her relatives being used to make such incredible tacos. :roll:

Thanks for clarifying SO. Now I can see the picture. Sometimes it has to be spelled out.

Hey ChillyFire;

I'm headed out tomorrow to start the trek. Just figured I'd let you know where our camp was placed.

For four years we were in 9:00 plaza but now we've been moved into the Center Camp area. Located on Evolution Rd, the outer ring around Centre Camp and we're at 5:30 on that road right between Art Car Camp and Home Brew Camp.

Drop in for a cook-off.
