Thank You!

Post by Fauna » Wed Sep 09, 2009 11:09 am

I want to express how grateful I am to all burners for the kindness and sense of belonging that was shared with me on my virgin burn this year. I have never felt so in tune with people until last week. I have definatley changed my perspective on life and will be implementing the ideals I experienced and shared with so many of you here in my life in Bend, OR. I truly felt like I was finally at home, accepted for who I am and loved by the brc citizens. I can't wait to come home next year and expand on my experiences from this year. My favorite act of kindness was when I was given a home baked cookie on the esplanade by the massage tent near 8:00. Much love to all my fellow burners. xoxoxo

 I feel ya, Fauna..it was my first burn also and all that weird cloud of "not me" lifted while I danced out in the sand far from everything. I walked in the parts by the temple, and got picked up by art cars that played (gasp!) Music I actually LIKE!!! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful...

Ahhh I missed the burn. Great experience though wasn't it? You'll never be able to explain it in the real world!
anything worth doing is worth overdoing..
