Destitute of Life

Post by LaReyna818 » Thu Feb 11, 2010 9:02 am

Hi, my name is Reyna and I am 24 years old. I currently reside in Fort Myers, Fl. For anyone who knows where that is then you know this place is lacking in culture. Which is sad cuz I moved here from Jersey.... Way to go out into the world!!! Guess I should have done more research..... However I can't say it's been all bad because I met my fiance here.

Anywho....I was just given the 411 on BM yesterday and I am soooooo ready to throw myself amongst the sea of characters and experience another side of life, which i thought was non-existent. Guess i was dead wrong! This is where I NEED to be, where I BELONG! Up until yesterday my life was mundane.

If there are any other newbies that feel this way please let me know that I am not alone. Please tell me it's not just about working hard but playing just as hard and a lil bit more. I can't wake up one day and say what was it all for?!?

So to all the veterans and newbies Thank You for being characters and acknowledging that you are, like me, ECCENTRIC!!

Lots of Love! See ya all there!

There's a huge burner scene in Florida. Google Preheat and Afterburn.

Are you going to Future Sound of Breaks v 8.0? A friend of mine from TO is playing....the lineup for that event is just insane. Big names in pretty much every main genre of electronic music.

If you do go to that event, check out Robb G (said friend) if you get a chance...the boy is insanely talented. :)

Considering the lineup, I'm pretty sure it must be.

Not sure if you're on Facebook, but here's the link to the event:

I cried a little when I saw that lineup, because there's no way I can attend. Haha.

I really can't get over the lineup. Like I said, huge names in pretty much every major genre.

Guh, please send me a PM and tell me all about it afterwards so I can live vicariously through you. :D lol

lmao! I def will. I'm considering getting like vip ticks. My fiance(hendrix) wants to get some autographs...don't know if that qualifies us for "special priviliges" but if you want i read we both get a copy of a cd from something either pre-recorded or from the live sessions. I can somehow get one to you or one of my friends is good with comps i'm sure he knows how to embedd it into a msg. If BM is something undescribable i wouldn't be able to capture the essence of next months event without some tunes to go along too!

Was just looking at the ticket prices...dear lord that's inexpensive for such a massive event. But, I suppose even with all those a-maz-ing names, you can only see so many in a night, so it's probably about the right price.

It's funny, sometimes you have to pay $20-$30 just to see one artist where I live. Which is totally fine, because we have a ridiculously rockin' electronic music scene for such a small town (only 10,000 people) and we have small, intimate venues. But how many artists are even on that lineup? It's huge.

Incredible though. I would def. go for the VIP tix...even if it's just so you don't have to wait in line. :D

If you do go for it, I'd love a copy of the CD you get if you're able to computerize it somehow!

 no waiting in line was all i needed to know! i thought the price was fairly cheap too but if u consider the mass of people that will attend either way they're still getting paid!

I'm sure I can get a wiz to do it 4 me!
