First timer from Sao Paulo - Brazil :)

Post by brunotozzini » Thu Feb 18, 2010 1:32 pm

Hi all !

here's Bruno Tozzini from São Paulo - Brazil.
This gonna be my first burn. :)

I'm very excited about it , because im trying to go since 2004 or something when I wrote an article about "the 10 amazing counterculture around the world" . you still can read it here if you want http://rraurl.com/cena/848 (its in portuguese)

that time i was doing some parties in Sao Paulo, inspired by Hakim bey - TAZ (temporary autonomous zone) concept. And burning man was always a reference of creation , music, freedom, activism and taz.

So , this party got bigger and bigger and finished in 2007. and last years i was travelling to play for fun .i went to argentina, belgium, madrid, portugal and austria for the elevate festival

here's my 2 music projects - triphop, experimental eletronic music....

now i got vacation again (thanks god!) :)
and ill go to the BM

im starting contacts to find people in LA area to get togheter and go. my flight probably go to LAX.
i still dont have camping plans too
im open to talk and meet people - heres my gtalk [email protected] and MSN [email protected]

nice to meet you all
see you at BRC

all best
saludos!

Welcome Bruno!
You have the right place! The place you've been looking for!
I would suggest reading everything you can on the main Burningman.com web page, any other questions you have bring here.
Good luck on your adventures!

Welcome... It might be my first time too if all works out!

It would be nice to link up with other Brazilians at Burning Man. Sao Paulo is where 1/2 my family is from. I born and raised here.

I hope all works out for you!

Welcome to eplaya bruno!

I’ve wanted to go to Sao Paulo for a while. Not sure why other than it keeps popping up on my radar and sounds like a nice place to visit. Good song by Morcheeba, too.

I’m a big fan of trip-hop and downtempo, so I’ll have to go check out your music.

This is a good forum to get a feel for how to prep for the event. Hang around and get to know the place. It’ll pick up a lot as the event gets closer, too. I tried for years to make it as well, and it finally worked out on the fourth try.

Hope you make it!!

Dying to go Virgin

Post by JheregVonMunch » Fri May 14, 2010 7:30 am

My husband is from Sao Paulo and I am getting very excited about getting over from Florida where we now live to Burning Man. I am very nervous because I have never experienced a week long camping experience like this but I feel that if I don't do it now, I may never get another opportunity.

Im looking forward to meeting other Brazilian and English folk (like myself) and I hope we can run into each other there!
