Yet another new Burner here

Post by missziggy » Mon Mar 15, 2010 8:32 am

Well Hello!!

Burning Man 2010 will be my first burn and I don't even know why it's taken me this long to finally get my ass in gear. But here I am planning and stressing and hoping everything will work out in the end.

I'm a Canadian that's been living in the UK for almost a year and a half now but I will be back home in May. It's a little complicated making plans with my friends back home at this moment, so I'm hoping everything will come together in the couple months I've got after I get home.

I'm super stoked and hope my brain won't overload itself before I get there cause I'll need lots of room to take in everything while I'm there.

Even though I've never been to B.M before, I feel like it's already my home. I mean, I haven't even been there yet and I can already feel a change for the better within myself. I think that's what I'm so excited about... knowing that this will be a big change in my life.

So I'm going to thank everyone and everything I can right now at this very moment. I'm thankfull for what you've done for me and what you're going to do for me (and to me). I'm thankfull for the opportunity to experience something to radically different and exciting that people spend their entire lives looking for that one thing, that singular event that makes them feel at one with themselves.

Thank you Burning Man and fellow Burners.
xoxo

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
