I'm a first time burner hoping to participate in some way but have no idea how or even where to look. I've been trying to go for a couple of years but something always happened, so this year I just took the plunge. I got my ticket, arranged transportation, got equipment and have started getting supplies. I've read the survival guide and I think just about every thing else on the website, but now I'm stuck. I'd like to meet up with other northstaters going. I'd appreciate any info you might haveto share.

Hey neighbor, there's more than a few of us here in Butte Co. I don't know of any offical gatherings in Chico though.

You might want to spread your search to the Sacramento area, although I know someone from Redding who goes.
