A dozen virgins eager to come home for the 1st time :)

Post by Popobumm » Mon May 10, 2010 6:01 pm

Hi all! I learned about Black Rock City about a year ago and unforunately couldn't make last year since I had some prior commitments, but I did get to watch the live video feed.

So I vowed to start this decade right and somehow along the way I've picked up 11 other folk who want to join in on the adventure =P We're all from the Los Angeles & Orange County area (most of us are Bruin alum...go True Blue!) and I honestly think about bman everyday...making productivity at work a rare commodity.

Looking forward to getting to know y'all better :)

Yeah the ePlaya is especially bad for productivity.
Good luck on making sure the 11 others actually make it. Lots of people say they'll go, but only half make it.
Good luck, and Welcome!

Bruins? LA and Orange County? Sounds like a bunch of frat kids to me...

Nah, only half of us were in a frat =P
The other half are art and music lovers :)

I'm pretty sure we'll all make it as everyone already purchased tickets, but one can never know...
I'll make sure to tell them to keep their 'frat'ernizing to a minimum

I'm sure they can Frat all they want when they get there.

But might get eaten alive :D

Last year we were accused of being a frat. My reply was yep Omega Tappa Kega. But I believe if you any group of mid twenty year old good friends together, with an almost endless supply of beer, it would look like a frat party.

12? Sounds more like a tour group. Dress in bright colors so they can follow you and not get lost.

Sure thing, I'll make sure they bring their letters and paddles. Although I'm assuming paddles wouldn't be too out of place there...

It's what happens with word of mouth and facebook nowadays...and as I was trying to embrace the openness of the Playa, I couldn't say no when they asked to join :P
