This is just weird. Not a hello or description from the author. Just a "I'm looking for a girl, I have a motor home, but were not taking that, I'm selling it"

I'm with Shambala, this belongs on the 'best of craigslist'

Lannyrob,
I would give it another try. Introduce your self first, where you're from, why you want to go to burning man. Then maybe start talking about what sort of art you need a muse for.

Sorry, illy, there is only one chance to make a first impression and that moment is gone forever.
lannyrob, you may need to never post under this name again. It's gone---over---finished.
Start again with a new name and we'll all act like this little incident never happended. Can you do us all that little favor please?

Thank you,
Shambala

My handle is Lannyrob and will remain so

different
The reference to the other coach was from a previous post

I do have an extra ticket and I do wish to share and it would be nice to share with one who has been there before

Lannyrob, it is an open forum, no telling what you'll get.

I did remove the mention of the bus for sale so to keep it in the no commerce guidelines. People do mention in passing they're selling things, but that's discouraged.

Hope you find what you're looking for.

No problem, just being cautious because it was a first post. Some people, you know.

Enjoy the eplaya ride, it can get strange, as you can see.

I think most people (smart ones at least) read around a bit. Get a feel for the ePlaya before they jump in face first. But to each his own.

There have been some pretty grotesque examples of guys posting "Hey, you come with me in my rv and I'll pay your ticket" turning out to be attempts to solicit prostitution by another name, and that might be why you're getting flack.
Me? I'm tempted to give it to you because I hate the whole "muse" meme, cheesy sexist inaccurate explination of how the creative process works (and to whom.)

re muse

Post by lannyrob » Thu May 27, 2010 6:25 pm

most great artist have had a muse ,a muse is often a woman but a muse can be the same sex or a man . some time a muse is a lover but not all the time some times a muse is a patron but a muse does help one get out of whatever is blocking the creative process sometimes your editor is your muse pushing you to meet that deadline at least by my definition

On this open board anything goes and it makes no difference to me whether I find a muse but I am enjoying this

I wont have a problem s#&*!%g or giving away my extra ticket there are lots out there looking

I know lannyrob, I tried to tell you days ago, but most newbies don't listen. They never listen. By the way, how are you making out scraping up some unsuspecting date to go along? Don't mention the all day dust storms or the living conditions. You may just want to tell her it's a week in northern Nevada with a bunch of friends.

I think boijoy still has an offer on the table for you. A BIG food order at Costco may be needed for that though.

Wow, I've been gone for about a week, and not surprisingly this thread has gone no where.

If a muse has to evolve, is a free ticket, room, and board the cause of the evolution?

Evolve? That was last year. This year, to conform to the theme, like a skyscraper the muse must be erected.

Yah, erected... und German!

I have found, looking back at my little lightning bolts of inspiration, that The Muse was nearby or right next to me when it happened. Sometimes it was right before they walked up. They were not direct experiences and sometimes just a seed that grew up big and tall later on. I also think you can have more than one Muse.

I don't find having an RV or free ticket helps anything at all.
