First time burner from Sacramento looking for friends

Post by scorpio69md » Thu Jul 01, 2010 2:18 pm

This will be my first year and I am looking forward to it. Due to my friends dropping me :( I now plan to drive up and camp solo :D
I know I will be able to make friends there fast, but it would actually be nice to go with someone. So if any of you need a ride or a camp site let me know (I can supply the basics). I am from Sacramento, CA but maybe I can help some of the out-of-towners too. I am new at camping on the playa, but not new at camping so let’s get to know each other make new friends and enjoy this together.
See you all on the Playa soon.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Where can one get in touch with groups from Sacramento area ? O wait I guess I just have to read all the posts on groups. I like to get to know people a bit before spending a week in a camp where I might not fit in completely

I would say about 1/3 of the people from Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro are from the general Sacramento area. I work in Sacto (Arden and I-80 by the Hilton) but live in Newcastle. We have a bunch of us from the general area (Carmichael, Orangevale, Loomis, Penryn, Auburn, Roseville) so you really can't swing a dead cat and not hit a burner it seems. If you would like to know more about us feel free to go to our website www.barbiedeathcamp.com or PM me.
