First Sober Burn

Post by Sanddog42 » Mon Jul 05, 2010 6:17 pm

Hi All. This will be my first time back to the playa since I got clean'n'sober four years ago, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Welcome back! Lots of sober folks out there as well as sober camps! Make sure to have some resources in your pocket in case you find yourself tempted! See you on the Playa!
A plan is what you vary from.

Destiny Lounge 3D will be at Bradbury and 3:15 this year as a part of the 404: Village Not Found group of camps! Come see us!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome Back!

I imagine you've seen this, but here's a link to the Sober on the Playa page:

Congrats!

2011 will be my initiation. I will be doing it just like I have for the past 14 years. Sober, happy and strange.

I'll be camping with Camp Stella -- a queer sober camp -- in the Avalon Village at 7:30 & Detroit, so I'll have good support around me.

We'll have meetings every day at 3pm, but I'm also hoping to catch some of the other meetings, for example at Camp Anonymous.

I hear meetings on the playa are great!

I think he means into the burner community/BM.
We break to remind us how to mend.
