At first I was kind of worried that I would mess up and do something like dump grey water on the playa or carelessly flick my cigarette butt to the ground and suffer the embarrassment and shame.
But lately I've felt and embraced some of the core values regarding MOOP and just generally caring more about the impact I have on the world around me.
I mean, I recycle and do all that stuff. But I feel like I was half assing it and I wasn't doing what I believe in. For example, I stopped flicking my cigarette butts on the ground (even though, yes, smoking is bad) and I stopped drinking bottle watered and drink out of a stainless steel container. All things I should have started doing along time ago but the eplaya and what I have been reading has sparked a fire in me. I get more excited every day.
