New to Burningman; pseudo solo

Hi!
I'm new this year to Black Rock City, and though I could possibly camp in my ride's camp or in my local friends' camp, I'm thinking about checking out the "primo space saved for the general public" mentioned, where the idea is that people without pre-planned camps come together and experiment with creating their space (Metropolis experiment).

It would be really cool to talk to people who also think they will wander there; it would be like meeting friends you haven't met yet.

My interests for this Burning Man endeavor:
meeting people from all over the planet to share this experience of being human
dressing up & down 24 x 7
live the motto of "survival can be fun!"
