What Camp do you Recommend for me?

Post by jazzapop » Mon Aug 23, 2010 1:59 pm

Geetings, Just landed from Sydney Australia. I like to muck-in and be part of a community as well as spend time moesying alone.
I'm wondering what camps you seasoned burners know of that might suit any of my funny little ways: -

Raw food, (usually organic but not fussed now as I'm travelling)
Vipassana Meditation (maybe not possible at the playa)
English (born & half way bred)
Australian (got citizenship 8 years back)
Applied Artist: Moccasin Maker, Leatherwork, Potter, Sculptor, Basket Weaver... and more
Peace, Love, Laughter, Truth, Integrity, Environment, Equality....
Main addictions are drinking tea, enjoying live music.
Love meeting and hanging with groovy pleasant people.
I would love love love to learn about Native American culture while I'm in USA, maybe even to craft skills share or something.
Also interested in learning more about living in intentional communities.

(oh yeah and I don't yet have a ride to the playa... need a ride from friends place in LA-riverside).

Cheers M'dears, meet you all soon xxxx

With all due respect. You're too late for any self-respecting Theme Camp to accept you as a member at this point. So the best camp is your own. Make it a good one.

Let me just say without fear of controdiction that Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro is about the furthest thing from what you're looking for. I should think the Playa Pups or Jiffy Lube would be more your style.

Ask Veleda from Sacred Spaces if they still have room.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
