Hi, attempting to go for the 1st time this year.

My name is Alexandro, you can just call me Alex or if I gain masquerade mask than Zorro. Just barely got enough money for my ticket, thought I had a ride/camp situation covered but I suppose I should of had it more worked out than a friend's word. Find myself campless and may be also rideless (may have one on the way there but not one returning).

Looking for advice and help anywhere I can. As I really would like to go and I'm not afraid of helping out in anyway when I get there.

There is no attempt. Do or don't do.

At this late date I'd say you have a great start on next year.

If you have your ticket and the supplies you need to survive, hit up the rideshare board on the main site. The Gate doesn't open until Monday, there are still tens of thousands of people who have to head up.

If you only have your ticket but no supplies because you were counting on the "friend of a friend", you are probably SOL at this point. You can attempt to sell your ticket so you don't lose that money completely. I'd suggest putting a chunk of that money aside so that you can buy a lower tier ticket for next year, and then start saving for the supplies.

There is no way to do Burning Man without spending money on your survival.
