Hi there!

Post by sweetorangeblossom » Wed Oct 20, 2010 10:21 am

I'm Ms SweetOrangeBlossom from Louisiana, and I'd just like to say HOWDY!!!!!!

I'm a Burgin (I know, I know) and have been looking into coming to BM since 2006! Now, I'm living with a great partner who wants to go too(he's a Burgin too) have been with him for going on a year. He's the coolest!

We'll be looking for a theme camp that wants a DJ as he is one...deep house, electronica, and old school hiphop. I'll just be looking for simpaticos, doesn't matter what kind because I like all kinds of people. We will probably be bringing two tents as we will probably be bringing two other people, I doubt more. We have a plan to be self reliant and won't have a camper. Any suggestions as to what would be the best theme camp for a couple of Burgins?
Just Lovely!

Oo! Oo! I think you get to be the first test case for this thread! At any rate, at least you're starting early, which means you can be choosy about whom you camp with. (Oh, you should anyway. There are bad experiences on the playa.)
Um. I'd give up on the dj dreams now. For every ten event goers there are eleven djs--or at least that's what it seems. It's kind of a joke on this board really. Read us for a month and see how many newbs are hoping to spin on playa and you'll see what we mean.
There are plenty of things to learn on this board. I suggest you at least read up, even if you can't stand the snark that may follow an actual post. And really, our barks are worse than are bites.

Hi. So you're an SOB, eh? Good, it'll help with the snark.

;-)
It's going to be alright.

Hola and nice to meet ya. You know you don't have to join a theme camp, right?
