Hello - and have a look at our Trojan Horse!
Hello BM community!
First time on the playa, first time on this board, but i've already had Burning Man in my head and heart for almost half a year now:
We've been busy. Our team has plans to erect a giant Trojan Horse this year. Have a look: http://trojan.evsc.net/
And, i am from Austria and right now based in Montreal.
See you all soon,
cheers,
Eva

this looks pretty nice...what is the framework made of?
This will make a big sail (hopefully this is not news to your designer)- the panels will need to be very strong and firmly attached (winds of 30-50mph are pretty routine...and gusts of 75-100 mph are theoretically possible).
But, I love the vision! Hope I get to see it this year...

Ai! Missed out on the replies.
Bad notification board!
To answer some of the questions: it's gonna be entirely made of wood: framework, paneling, everything (besides the electronics, lights). Because the plan is to burn it at the end! And yeah, we are trying to make it wind-safe, planning for a very heavy base, so there is no tip-over chance.
And it's gonna be stuffed with Greek gods, of course!

Hi there and welcome!!!
Are you actually building this in Montreal, or out west? Looks like you have folks from all over the place on you team, so it's kind of hard to tell.
If in Montreal, have you contacted the Bruleurs there?
