Hi New to Eplaya

Hi my names Phil new to eplaya and never been to burning man, but I have been to several regionals in Delaware and San Jose, CA. I am currently getting ready to move to San Diego on March 1st. I have someplace to stay for the first week I there, but I am looking for a room to rent. I really want to meet new people in the area so I don't feel like an outsider when I get out there. I used to live in San Jose for about 2yrs and then moved back east cause my sons mother promised I would get to see him more a she Lied. So I decided to move back to CA, Better money and better people.
I fell in love with CA the first time I visited several years ago and even more when I moved to San Jose. I can't wait to get back to CA and make new friends.

Welcome, San Diego is a great place, and yes there is a local group in SD. I'll bet you will find it or they will find you.

ChopChop, if you look under the "Regionals & Events" forum from the main ePlaya index, you will find a regional event in your area this very Saturday, where you would be bound to meet other SD burners.

Thank you Savannah, but I won't be in San Diego til March 1. And I will def look there to find all the wonderful people. As for my name I'm a Chef and have that tattooed on my knuckles. ;)

Thank you for all the warm welcomes. it makes me so happy that there are so many wonderful people here and in the world.

Yes it does suck that I will miss the film festival.
