Hello fabulous people! My name is Allyss and I am a first timer. I have been wanting to participate for years and have finally made it happen. I am completely new to the community and would love any tips, support or info you have to give. I really wantt o get fully involved and plan on helping with projects or anything that need be done. I live in Portland, Oregon and would love to connect with others in the area.

There's a regionals section on this board. You shoudl be able to find portland events there.

There is a local meeting this sunday night. It is a pretty heavy duty meeting as far as first timers go but would be a great place to network and find a way in to the scene.
