Hello fellow burners, thoughts on camp
Rites of Passage, thats a beautiful theme for this year. A Rite is like your sacred constitution, something coordinated with everyone else before you were born. This will be my seventh burn, ya whiling. Lovin Life! My girlfriend Freda is a virgin so thats exciting. Im all over promoting the waste to energy means to Green the Burn. There are a few companies who have designed and build small scale gasification and pyrolysis units for demonstration but I dont know if they make them for processing large amount of garbage yet. The goal would be that we want to turn of the waste streams made on the playa, maybe even the sewage, into clean burning bio fuel or gas to run generators. This reduces fossil fuel use and reduces the inputs to a land fill which would pollute our environment. These systems claim to be almost zero waste clean emissions although there are many questions. If you like the idea of Greening the Burn, get in touch and come camp with us this year. We usually camp on the outer ring near the Last Bar Standing. We hope to bring lots of goodies because I love to cook food and make drinks for friends. I might be cooking up a storm at LBS as well. Either way, a week at burning man is a dream come true. Ive meet the best people in the world on the playa. Lets help Black Rock city balance its carbon footprint. Looking forward to new faces!
