Hello from Australia, we will bring the Tim Tams

Post by Hotel balmoral » Sun Feb 12, 2012 6:55 pm

Hay guys ( sorry to disappoint but we don't really say g'day)

We are so super excited to get tickets and are heading over to play.

Does anyone know of any fellow Australian artists that we could volunteer to help out ?
:D
Jelly shot anyone?

I don't know if I'll recover. no g'day? ok, we don't really say howdy in Texas either.
Welcome to Eplaya! The best place to look for local groups is the Regional section on the burningman.com site.
Congrats on the tickets!

Hi H'Balmoral!

Can't tell if you joined the Australian Regional mailing list or not . . . might help you meet the like-minded.
http://regionals.burningman.com/au.html

Even if it's low traffic it's worth adding yourself to it; checking Facebook for a group wouldn't hurt either.

As you've seen by now there were several Aussie delurks today in the Introduce Yourself forum . . . users worla, sensei_88, and tassietiger.

Yah! More australians.

First we take the Playa then we take the WORLD...

Where are you? I am in Melbourne and have some art plans.. love to have your help. I'll send a private message,

And yes to the Tim Tams. American's don't understand them.

For the uninitiated a Tim Tam is a grown up Oreo with better chocolate taste and not as sweet.

The vegemite went down a treat last year - wer had a competition against the bloody poms and their marmite crap. And Vegemite won.

This year I had an Aussie who looked just like John Oliver from the Daily Show whose real name was a playa name, Atilla, had just run his dual sport motorcycle at Booneville the week before, saw the ticket and camped snug up against my motor home. I say more Aussies 'cause this guy was totally out of control. More like him...

but to be clear- the quota remains on Texans right?
