Hello! I am a playa virgin, going this year and very excited to participate at such an awesome event with such amazing people! I'm an engineer in Chicago, and eager for a place/time to let my creative energy flow.
Goals:
*Not die
*Keep hydrated (see above)
*Volunteer at a theme camp
*Camp solo
*Bring solar panels/charger for lights and fans
*Learn to spin poi
*Play a set of my odd D&B/Electro music somewhere

Hey there. Not dying is probably a goal I should add to my list as well. Already have playing a set of my music on my list too

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Yeah, I've got the poi basics down, im only hitting myself in the head/junk once every 3 or so minutes (kinda proud, honestly). I'm hoping my complete lack of motor control and otherwise awkward demeanor will soften the blow to the veteran burners. (get it, soften the blow? poi -> nuts ?)
also, pretty sure im staying with camp tetris, so hundreds of people are bound to see anything stupid i do, and half the stupid things i say. theres just not going to be room for embarrassment
