Adventurous Hobbit

Post by Adventurous Hobbit » Tue May 22, 2012 3:06 pm

Hi peeps,

UK Hobbit planning once in lifetime trip around US, Canada, Central and South America. Hoping to attend the event of all events, Burning Man for first and last time this late summer...likely only time I will ever be able to attend. Hoping to volunteer on Gate, Perimeter and Exodus so I can experience Burning Man from both sides of the fence (worker and regular participant), thus the full experience...and make some awesome friends for life. Also hopefully experience of volunteering will prepare me for more of it when in SA

As for me, I like to travel, eat tasty cuisine from all over the world, meet new people from different cultures, dance, chillax, read, hitchhike, busking, party, bungyjumping, basejumping...pretty much like to try anything al least once. My ultimate dream (when I can afford it) is to get Sky Diving licence then basejump from everywhere...from isolated cliffs to skyscrapers in city centres!!! :D

Hope to see you there...

Dusty Cheers

Hey AH, welcome to eplaya. I'm sure you've checked out the First Timers Guide by now, but if you haven't you should. Since you want to join the shiny happy people of PG+E, the best way to do that is to fill out this fancy forum, and someone will get back to you soon™. Since it sounds like this is your first time on the playa, you'll only be able to help out Exodus (ref), but that's not bad because Exodus always needs people, and it's fucking awesome!
I have a little bit of Savannah with me. Shhh...

Welcome.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
