Personally, I believe 25 gallons for a single person is more than necessary. In our camp we loosing follow the equation 1 gallon/person/day + 1 gallon/day for cooking and cleaning + (1)7gallon water jug spare.
So basically its one of these 7 gallon deals per person, plus 1 for cleaning, and 1 for spare. Though, we also keep some of those 3 liter Arrow head jugs in each tent for those sleepy time "I'm thirsty but I don't wanna get out of bed" drinks.
For one person, I bet you would be OK with just 2 of the 7 gallon aquatainers. Plus the valve flips around and they stack very nicely and are sturdy.
I agree 25gals are a bit much for 1 but I plan on offering free showers from time to time... Yes well read and smart.....
