I'm south of PHX and hopefully after BM2013 I will be rising from the ashes - again! It should take us approx 9-10 hours to drive to the playa... we are so excited to begin our epic journey! you?

You don't want to hit the entry line after that drive, so plan a nap somewhere along the way.

I drive from Apache Junction and sleep at a rest stop 2hrs. past las vegas, then take a nap at the Love's truckstop in fernly before the last leg to the playa.

Thanks for the heads up... we're planning on 2-3 days just to get there - We plan on camping in walmart/target/casino parking lots along the way. Excuse my ignorance - What's Saguaro man?
