I lost my father this past Sunday. At 25 years old, I feel the fire for life like never before burning to get out. I'm on my way to a home I've never seen before, to a family I have never known. Lost in Texas, I feel alone. My eyes see beauty, wishing only to share what i see with others who understand what it means to be free. I am sorry for the loss of your father.
I lost my mother in February, I was her caregiver for 3 years. After having lost both of my parents, the best condolence I received is "it sucks". And it does but you got to remember they don't want you to be sad.
I was at Arches National Park in Utah a couple weeks ago. The person who was house sitting for me sent me a pic of my mothers calendar for Feb as we have not changed her room yet. It was a pic of Arches NP. I took it as a sign from Mama that all was good.

Burning Man has been my goal for a while, and I am SO looking forward to it, seeking a catharsis, or just a damn good time. I am traveling alone at this time and I might have an extra ticket if my friend does not decide to go.
I am planning on taking an RV.
