First Year Attempt From USA

Post by mutant_bunny » Tue Jun 10, 2014 6:43 pm

Hey everyone,

My name's Caspian. I'm trying to go to burning man this year. I'd like to get to know the community. I live on the east coast.

Problem is, I need to find a caravan of people to go with, or a campsite to join. Anybody know where I can start? I live in NJ but am looking for burners in either Central/Norther NJ, NYC, or New England (especially Boston). I also need to find a ticket

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Peace, Love, & Good Vibes to you All! I hope to make it out this year so I can get freaky with all of you!

Welcome to eplaya, Caspian. If you're looking for locals - which is a great way to get information and possible ticket leads - try the Burning Man regional mailing lists, here: http://regionals.burningman.com/

Why do you need a camp and caravan to join? Many people camp on their own every year and have great fun.
When he lights his streetlamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.
When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.

I'm not sure if they're still taking members but New York Dangerous are in New York. Also it sounds like you mean caravan in the convoy sense but if you mean it in the RV sense too NYD have a trailer that belongs to one of their members who can't go this year but he's keen for them to take it, use it at the burn and then store it in Reno for him for next year but they need people to help with covering the cost of that.
