First timer from a dustbowl on the other side of the world

Post by Gee-Banger » Thu Jul 24, 2014 5:59 pm

Hi there my future burn friends!

Hope you are all feeling AWESOME today.
My name is Gee and I just booked my tickets from a small town in dusty rural Western Australia to an elusive city in Nevada desert where I have never been before, except for in my dreams. I have not been able to get my hands on a BM ticket yet but believe the universe will provide now that I have taken this leap of faith. I really hope that on my travels I meet the right people and find my path to Black Rock City, but if not, I'm sure it's gonna be amazing as hell anyway!

Rock on soldiers, and see you at the playa!!!

That's Teegan, she's already here in Los Angeles (I think) with her bf. Just landed from AUS yesterday!

They are the one's who've created the camp. I'm just a new member going for the first time this year as well.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

ME? I'm a WAY over-planning OCD type camper and since my tickets haven't gotten here yet I'm totally freaking out!

I'm slowly sliding into complete mental overload but hey, it all works out right?? :D

Haha, dude, tall me about it! Ever since I brought my plane tickets I've been a nervous wreck eating my hair and nails by pounds at the time. I keep telling myself 'it's going to be alright, you will find a ticket, the universe will provide etc etc' but in reality I'm just going batsh*t crazy haha. I'm somewhat glad to hear I'm not the only one suffering tho... Sorry! ;)

Welcome! I like your choice in avatar. I'm not sure who has more attitude, you or the kitty. :D

Good luck with the ticket!

Haha thanks savannah, Crab Bait (my cat) is definitely much more bad ass than me. It might look like I'm wearing him as an accesory but in reality it's the other way around ;)
