About Me , Myself and I

My name is Jeffery J Pearson, I live and have my hole life in La Mesa, San Diego Cal. I'am 65 years old …. jeez is that right ?!? doesn't seem like it , but it's true. Im just an average guy , and had what I would call an average life up to 4 years ago. That is when my best friend ,lover and wife of 40 years [49yrs going together ] pasted away . I had been taking care of her for 10 years becuz that is what she wanted. She died of complications of diabetes, thyroid, dementia and alzheimer's . We had no kids and owned our own business , if fact we owned a few businesses . It's hard for me to say ''me '' or ''I'' , it was always ''we'' Im trying to get use to it .
One thing that happened was back in early 90's , Terri and I saw on TV something about a bunch of hippies from San Francisco were going to the desert and dancing around, well we both looked at each other and said WHY NOT , but it wasn't to be when her parents died then mine over a 15 yr time span, and while that was happening I didn't notice Terri acting weird , she knew but didn't let on till to late , die ing in my arms 4/16/10 . I had lost 2 friend shortly before , my brother 2 months after my dog and my favorite uncle all in 2010 .
Now about me, I grew up being a carpenter on both sides of my families . Doing remodels and building commercial building and building a 9000 sq ft victorian home for my mom and dad . We also owned a trucking company local to San Diego and a dealer ship in synthetic oil. We retired in 1987 after nafta was passed becuz as a trucker we can not drive south of the broader. We have always worked with younger people helping them get started in life, like with credit and advice . Helping other types of businesses get ahead, like advising them to put their business in the wifes name to get government contracts . I have been a working boss and not afraid to get dirty , I know how to cook, be a boss and clean out houses. I have run tractors, backhoes, hung drywall and taped it, even painted it. I like to think I work smarter now that Im older , but thats not always the case. Im sure you might be able to tell but Terri was the smart one of the two of us, reading an writing wasn't my favorite thing to do [ my spellings not the best ] But there you go , my lives story in three paragraphs , hope it's what you wanted THANK-YOU JJP
