Greetings from Vancouver, Canada

Post by EVT » Thu Feb 19, 2015 10:33 pm

Hello all!

I've been wanting to go to Burning Man for YEARS, so this year I decided to just commit and purchase a pre-sale pass and not battle it out during the general sale.

I'm going to Burning Man! :D

Now that the general sale has passed I'll be reaching out to Burners here in the Vancouver area so that I can see about possibly connecting with a camp. I'm also musing about whether I should just solo down there too, but that's all up in the air right now.

Anyways I'll be lurking around here for the next few weeks or so and trying to soak up all that I can about the Burn.

Here we go!!!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hey EVT, welcome!

I did the same thing bro, and I'm coming down from Victoria BC (sup mainlander? :P)

There are some awesome Vancouver events and people, I highly suggest, if you're on the FB to check out their page.

Are you driving down?
I'm taking the route through Washington and Oregon and into California and onwards to Reno and beyond. So excited never made the drive before!

See you in the dust fellow Canucker!

Welcome to eplaya EVT. You can definitely find some one to car-pool or even to camp with. Hang out here for the many months ahead. Do a little research on this board then ask us anything. We all have experience and opinions.

I will definitely check out the FB page.

I also have a car pass, and the plan now is to head maybe a week or so earlier for a little extended road trip, but it all depends on who I'm going down with.

Anyhoo, lots of time for that. I've already reached out to a few burner contacts, and things will become clearer as the burn approaches.

Thanks again all!
