Hello from Manchester (England England)

Post by VivaBurn » Sat Feb 21, 2015 11:06 am

Hello all,

Having a personal discovery moment this year and thought I'd pop by BM cherry with a bit of a dust bath (I'm going to Nowhere in Spain as a practice run!). Know a few people who are BM regulars, but pretty much striking out on my own for 2015. Bit daunting, but now I have a ticket in my as yet undusty little paws it seems silly not to get fully involved.

Would particularly like to talk to others from the UK on the best way to do things. I have looked at Green Tortoise as a travel option, but I'd rather find a theme camp and some new friends to share a ride with. Any advice most welcome. And if anyone is also going to Nowhere it would be amazing to meet up there as pre-Playa friends :coffee:

Very glad to be here. Personal circumstances have caused this experience to be put off a couple of times but I think now is the right time.

:D

Ha. My niece just moved here (san francisco bay area) from Manchester.

You're "hail, mary" ace in the hole is getting a ride at the airport. You can find someone who will stop and let you shop for food. (he or she may need to as well.) You may end up camping with them, or you may end up camping with yourself and making friends with the people around you. Not saying you have to do this, but assuring you that if things don't work out as you'd like, they'll work out.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
