How do I introduce myself when I'm not really sure who I am, yet?
Maybe like this:
20 years ago I wrote my last complete poem and it was actually published. Not so ironically, it was about the death of my Muse (not an actual person)
My Spirit For Writing
My spirit for Writing
Has died
She no longer sings to me
or sweets on my page
She lies cold and dry
on her hoary slab
Never to dance again
I think it has been long enough and I am determined to find her again in her many splendored forms. Over the years myself has become buried by the grit of many explicable things. Funny enough more dirt appears to be just the solution to greet me again. I am excited and hold no expectations for the playa. But, I do have one (of millions) of questions for the Burners out there: where you scared?
I can't wait to see you all in the sand and have my spark explode into flame.
Love, Hugs and Kisses

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Not scared, but nervous. We had never really traveled much and this trip was a huge departure from the norm for us. Now I can't imagine not going.
Welcome!
