Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome, eelizhend!
It's true, there are smaller regional Burns held in fields and forests.
Add yourself to the regional mailing lists (or FB groups, etc) for any state you'd be willing to travel to.

ETA: As a crafty artist type, you could probably make beautiful Burner jewelry. Anything with the Man symbol and the year (or the theme!) that doesn't shed or fall apart easily tends to be highly prized by a small handful of individuals with whom you have had meaningful interactions.
The best gift on the playa is still arguably a helping hand (and it's free) but as a artist/beader/woodworker I wanted to make sure you knew!
