Hello all!
About a month ago I discovered the amazing phenomenon that is Burning Man, and since then I've been reading everything I can get my hands on about it. Unfortunately I won't be able to go this year, but you can bet I'll be first in line for a ticket next year! (And from what I hear, you'd better be first in line or you don't have a chance nowadays.)
I'm one of those people who plans the hell out of everything, so I already have a dizzying array of bookmarks, notes, and even a spreadsheet.... what can I say, it's fun!! However, I'm well aware that no matter how much reading and planning I do, things will be different on the playa.
Anyway, I hope everyone heading out this year has a great burn, and I'll see you guys there next year!

You ought to go to the Sacramento Monthly Burner Meet-up at Benny's Grille, 20th and Q Street in midtown. Always the first Thursday of the month (the next one is April 7; I won't be there because I'll be at Opening Day for the S.F. Giants against the stinking Dodgers). Good way to meet a mix of burners from the region representing probably a dozen different camps.
