Determined to Burn in 2016
Morning, peeps. I missed out on tix in the main sale, but am determined to burn this year. The playa has been calling for some time and this is my year. I'm pretty sure the universe is orchestrating this adventure in just the way I need. I'm a crazy planner by nature--I've read and re-read the first time burner guide so so many times and I've already had the time off work approved--so I'm pretty sure I'll find my ticket just a few weeks prior to the burn. I'm looking forward to this wild ride.

Good luck!!!! You're definitely on your way towards preparedness and make me realize that I too need to just start stockpiling stuff and assume I am going rather than hope

You've got the right spirit . . . try to avoid non-refundable plane tickets (if applicable), but otherwise, conduct yourself as if you're going, meet local Burners (who would sooner sell to you than a complete stranger) and tell EVERYONE you're looking.
