Well I'm sitting on the concrete with strangers all around, waiting for the Bernie Sanders rally to start, so I figured I may as well do an introduction post, as I'm going to be here a while.
Hi, I'm Karma! Not a playa name, I was raised by hippies (I hope to be given a nickname someday, but so far nothing has stuck).
2016 will be my second burn. Last year I camped with camp New Jersey, though I live in Oakland. I was lucky to have a small camp with very experienced burners (some with ten years, mostly from Flaming Lotus Girls). Our camp will have a big shade structure with lazers, couches and a bar. In 2014 we were at 7 and D,across from the solar powered radio station.
In particular I'm looking for writers and other amateur DJs, since those are skills I haven't figured out how to share on the playa. But I'm happy to meet all you beautiful burners in general.

Welcome. You shouldn't have any trouble finding DJ's. You may have to resign yourself NOT to DJ at the event. (Unless you bring your own gear.) It seems that every 5th person is a DJ. It would be nice if you composed poems or something on the spot for passers by. There's no shortage of ass hats on bullhorns so something positive would be a nice change.
