I thought for sure this year was the time, what with the giant vitruvian man parchment rolled in the corner of my too crowded living room, a recent addition due to the untimely death of my Dad. I thought, "oh, how fitting." I could see myself saying a proper goodbye at the temple. And yet I sat for an hour watching the icon turn, hoping that by some faint chance I would make it in. Main sale and OMG sale both flashed past, hopes dancing in the dust of the playa I hope to feel and taste. If not this year, then soon, as now I have more time to prepare. I look forward to contributing a dark sense of humour, Polaroids and maybe some old cartoons flashed on a screen at dusk. These vitruvian man tokens will have to wait for their gift recipients. I can't even accept tickets as I've booked another trip. I look forward to photographs of your beautiful dusty selves. Xo
