Hey guys I'm coming from Sydney to burning man 2017 none of my friends want to come.. I'm looking for a group to travel/camp with from Sydney to the burn if anyone could tell me any sites or anything that would help

Hi Nicole, plenty of burners come out of the Sydney area. Look out for the burning seed community if you haven't already. Get in contact with local burners and you'll find a camp in no time.

Keep an eye out for dirty birds. Heaps of those guys go. They also participate heavily in the Australian scene. Many of them are Sydney based.

No it won't. It's been cancelled.

There are two other Aussie burns though, the QLD burn Modifyre is in July and Blazing Swan is in April in WA.

The Sydney Burner FB group jinyukuang08 posted is a good way to get to know local burners but for prep for the 2017 burn the Aussies on the playa 2017 group is probably more appropriate.
