Hi from London
Very new to Burning Man, planning to be there 2017, with my 13 year old, 16 year old artist daughter and 26 year old musician son and his girlfriend, still researching preparations and planning to check out the local London Burners scene
Re: Hi from London
Tereza, That sounds like a fine plan. You have plenty of time so use it wisely. (Everybody runs out of time in August and feels the crunch.) All the info you need to be well prepared is here. Welcome to Eplaya.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Re: Hi from London
Hi, Tereza.
That's wonderful you plan to bring your family to the playa! I think families at Burning Man are great. Youth, afterall, are our future Burners. My son has gone with me many times to Burning Man, and he only just turned 12. He loves it!
I suggest you connect with other Burners who have brought their children to the playa. There are always concerns whenever you bring children - no matter whether you're bringing young children or babies, or bringing older children who've never been before. There are lots of Burner parents out there with great experience to share.
Have fun exploring the London Burner scene, and I hope to see you and your family next year on the playa!
