Greetings From Long Island, NY!

Post by EzDuzzIt » Sat Jan 21, 2017 12:08 pm

Hello Burners!

My name is Evan. I'm a 25 year old from Long Island, New York. I'm tired of fantasizing about attending Burning Man. I want to finally make it a reality this year. I'm currently in search of a carpool/camp that is willing to take me under their wings.

In 2013, I wanted to go to Bonnaroo but none of my friends could go. I went on Reddit and made a post similar to this one and found a great group of people who recruited me. I drove to Tennessee with them, camped with them, and made some new lifelong friends. Long story short, I'm hoping to have something like that happen here!

I'm a "go with the flow" type of guy. I'm content with hanging out at a campsite, listening to some tunes, and drinking a beer. However, I can also party and get weird. I love art, music, seeing new things and making new friends. If you think I'd be a good addition to your group or even if you could just point me in the right direction, please contact me! Thank you so much everyone! :D

Hey man I used to live in Patchogue!
I'm about as far from there as I can be in the U.S. now so I can't hook you up but you're definitely going about this the right way.
There are a whole lot of NY burners and there is even a group that sends a container truck to BRC that you can rent some space in.

EzDuzzIt welcome to eplaya. Do you like to play 'dress up'? Kostume Kult is in NY. They are active all year with a variety of events. (It's almost a reason to move there.) check them out and start getting involved NOW.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hi Evan!

Join up with NY locals . . . (and maybe in some neighboring states).

Read the Survival Guide a few times too, so you don't require too much wing to hide under. :)
