Well welcome Brandon!
This is the place to start, lots of great advice, sometimes a bit snarky but all in good fun.

Brandon, welcome to ePlaya. You're not going this year so you have enough time to get over prepared. You can search the endless amount of information here by using google. Type... site:eplaya.burningman.org

then leave a space and put in whatever you are interested in. This will search only eplaya.

site:eplaya.burningman.org clam shell will get you the carports set up with a flattop roof.

site:eplaya.burningman.org shirtcocking will get you something of nightmares. etc... welcome

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.
