Another newbie :)

Post by antio » Wed Mar 15, 2017 10:00 am

Hi!

Newbie here, so please excuse the over-excitement! I'm hoping to visit for the first time this year, from London, UK.

A few years ago I drove the 'entire' Route 66 and just loved the experience and the people we met along the route. Ever since, I've been yearning to try a bit more of the desert life and test my self-sustenance limits.

So here I am, a first-world boy, with first world problems looking to prepare myself as best as I can.

Thanks to everyone who makes this a great place to be, and hope to meet some of you in the desert! :)

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Antio, Welcome. You can meet us all if you come to the Eplaya Meet & Greet. Leave your schedule open on Wednesday around 6pm. Details to follow. I'm extremely jealous of your route 66 trip. Americans don't see enough of their country. I've lived in California all my life and have gone to Disneyland twice, Yosemite a couple of times but San Francisco too many to count. The coast has been well traveled as well as Monterrey and Napa. Can't wait to meetcha.

Thanks for the welcome! :D

Ratty, it's the same with everyone's country. I think I've seen more of the US than my own country. I'm jealous of your Yosemite visits, it's quite high up on my list! :) I would definitely suggest Route 66. Parts of it are already crumbling and won't be around for long...

Hadn't read anything about the meet and greet, but will look it up, thanks!
