Hello! Virgin in Vista, Ca

Post by r4everie » Wed Mar 22, 2017 12:32 am

Hello to everyone!
My name is Mariah and I have been thinking of Burning Man since I first heard of it when I was 18 and now Im 23 and have been wandering the Burning Man website for about 2 years now knowing that someday somehow I would find my way to the playa. I just recently moved to North San Diego and im looking out for meet n greets and volunteer opportunities! I am currently saving up for a van to begin the next chapter of my journey, the van life. If my first burn isnt this year i am definitely rolling into the playa with my new baby next year. for now, im still just going with the flow of things :)
Im so excited to finally take root in this community and grow

r4everie, Welcome. I hope you make it to the playa this year or next. You should be super prepared by then. Hang out here and let us get to know you. We'll hug you in person later. San Diego has a strong burner community. Get in touch with locals and have some fun.

Welcome, r4everie! :D

Vans are great playa bedrooms, especially if it's a cargo van, or you take the back seats out. You can also comfortably haul enough gear and water for 2 people. If you both sleep in the back you'd better be very good friends or have a supplemental tent. :)

Find San Diego Burners here:

Volunteer opportunities are here:

Good luck!

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
