Hello Burners

Post by Yellow » Fri Mar 31, 2017 11:36 pm

This year will be my first time at Burning Man and very curious to see what it looks like from the inside and meet you guys.

I'm from France but been living in London for 13 years.... I am about to embark on a 1-2 years journey as I will start a world trip without flying early this summer, although I will make an exception for going to BRC at the end of August and then just get back to where I left it (probably Asia at that time).

I'm in my early 30s and strangely became an adrenaline junky since: passed my skydiving license so I can start wingsuit and BASE jump at some point, did the same thing with scuba diving in Cyprus last year (deep sea & wreck diving).... well and now going to crazy festivals ;)

Supposed to come with one of my best friends but he is still unsure he can make it so actually I have a question for you since I'm coming anyway!
What tips do you have for people who come on their own?
I know it's often the best way to meet new people as it pushes you out of your comfort zone but keen to hear from you.
If you are in a similar situation or just want to say hello feel free to message me directly so we already have fellow burners to talk to.

Keep it buuurning! 8) 8) 8)

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

I think you'll find that everyone you meet hugging you is the worst that you have to worry about. :) There are whole camps of cats. I'll bet you'll get alot of warm purrs if you stop by. I took care of 9 ferrol cats for 8 yrs , all over 20 yrs old. It's humbling how animals care for and look out after each other. hope to see you there.
