First timer looking for the Gay-borhood

Hello everyone! So first timer this year (2017) and excited and anxious at the same time. I've not read or watched everything I could have, but getting through more material this last week for sure. We (there's three of us coming in an RV), are not with a group. While we want to stay "open" to the entire experience, we think it would be nice to at least be in or close to the gay-borhood. Looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible and having a great experience! Aside from gay-borhood info, we're also interested in any tips for dealing with an RV out there (should we tape everything up? and other tips) and is it really impossible to get gas in Gerlach at 11 pm on Saturday night?

The gayborhood is on the West side of the Burn (7ish-8:30ish on the clock) but it's a very gay-friendly city everywhere you go.
