Greetings burners!
I’m Joshua. I’m an artist, I sculpt, I paint,I draw. I’m 43. I have a beautiful family. I live in Wisconsin.
I’ll attend my first BM this year.
Art is in my soul, it courses through my veins. I spend most of my waking hours pondering my art or admiring the art others have made.
I’ve recently learned what BM actually is. The spirit and the principles are beautiful and I am anxious to join the community.
I don’t use any chemicals so I will be 100% sober while I’m there. This I understand is not the norm.
But it’s also not unheard of.
I hope if you are reading this I will meet you on the playa.
Till then,
My best.

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Yes, Burning Man is a very unique place. I hope you take some time to read up on the links in my signature below. Come with an open mind. In so many cases, what you find is not exactly what you are imagining. It's a full working city of very creative people.
As far as "chemicals", most people are completely clear-heaaded for the week, but like virtually every city, there will be a bit of experimenting. Personally, I enjoy a nice cold martini with my dinner at camp.
Poke around eplaya and search for things you might want to learn about.
See you on the playa in just 5 short months.
Sham....
